Three down, two to go my friends.

Every single one of these I post up signifies the completion of the previous panel. Woot!

Even with the sketches, you can see how drastically I’ve improved. Shocking, isn’t it?

Daytime: I love them! But I think they’re a little afraid of me…

Daytime: Any day where I can’t make little Gilda comfortable in my tower is one filled with regret… That poor princess is always so nervous around us…

((I’d like to apologize for the poor quality of the second image. It was only when I finished it that I realized that it was only a quarter of the size of the first.))

Daytime: I could have sworn that when I heard that cuddling her was a bad option, it meant it’d cause culture shock. Imagine my surprise when she allegedly drained my love dry and I was a floppy rag doll for three hours!

Moonlight: Ha! La foo!!

Daytime: Moony, I’d appreciate it if you were a little bit more polite. You don’t want to have to take a nap again, do you?

Moonlight: N-neigh! Your bed too big!

Just a little something to blow the dust off this blog. Asks are available!

ABOVE: This picture was taken on the dawn of the longest day of the thousandth year. They had stayed close together like this all night.

BELOW: A simple Diagram of the Tower to the sun, where a great many ponies live. The tower is situated in a swampland, so below the city, not much has been known to grow; save for mudbeans. There are some villages, but they are somewhat few and far between.

1. Palace. Houses the royal family, their guards, students and servants.

2. Palace Courtyard. Holds many of the private parties of the royal family.

3. Noble’s District. High class and rich live here. The nobles hardly leave this district. (And all the other ponies are completely content with that.)

4. Market District. This is where most of the common ponies shop. Also holds all public buildings like hospitals, Schools, police and fire stations. one place where ponies work.

5. City elevator. Main way of travel throughout the city. Going by hoof is also possible, but impractical if not already at the edge of a district.

6. Residential district. Most of the common ponies live here, and tend to their homes and families.

7. Park/nature reserve: 40 acres of land for the ponies to live, enjoy themselves, and gather (healthy) fruit and mushrooms for food.

8. Industrial district: Where most business complexes produce their products. Little to no ponies actually  work here, due to the steam this produces, and only ever come down for routine maintenance.

9. Dungeons/ tower boarders. Marks the bottom of the tower, and holds the criminals of the city. The aqueducts and sewers run down the middle of the tower and out through the very bottom. The dungeons are currently only 0.05 percent full.

Pinkie, you’re not supposed to say things like that!!

Pinkie: What? It’s not like you even liked it.

Daytime:

Obligatory Valentine’s day post. Sheesh Tia, what a downer. At least she’ll still cuddle, right?
Happy valentine’s day, everyone! (Except for the percentage that have no special someone to be with. May your suffering only be brief.)

Daytime: And what did I tell you about using Old Equite, Moonlight?

Moonlight: …Don’t, Celestial?

Daytime: That’s right, my little sacrifice! Now give your sister a big hug!

Moonlight: TIA, NEIGH! ICREIGHLA!!

((And this is where I begin to take great liberties on ponies, names and the like! You can expect drastic differences from show cannon if you haven’t noticed already.

Notes: Because I could find no good English to old English translator (in order for Luna to occasionally speak in the language of a thousand years ago), I have chosen to make up one. Few things of note, “Ic” is the personal it from used for “I”, “mine” and “my”; “la” is a strong feminine you form, where as “lo” would be a weak feminine you form. (Masculine you forms would be “to”  [pronounced “toe”] and “ta”. I also tried to mix in your typical English horse automatopia.

Sorry for the wall of text. Next will have less, I swear.))

Sunset has always had a dependency on coffee. Maybe she’s my opposite, or something. It’s adorable to watch her sleepily step out to the kitchen every morning! (Except when she’s grouchy. But I can always fix that!)

((Note: Some questions take a little more time to answer. If I didn’t answer fully, chances are that I will, and I’m just trying to keep posting in order to avoid blog stagnation. So please be patient.))
