Tatzl and company sometimes come home late from the TDCG because of any sort of urgent business. By then, it’s already late at night in their part of their homeworld, and the drop-off point and home are five miles apart from each other. So what’s a Tatzlpony to do? Why, dig a hole and curl up with her friend, of course.

Naturally, Tatzlponies are significantly larger and have thicker and softer coats than other ponies. So also naturally, Rainbow Sprint doesn’t mind hugging up to her. Just don’t ask her to sleep in her crop, you can just forget that.

So it has come to my attention that I am very unmotivated when it comes to artwork. Weeks on end without updates in any internet location, a lethargic feeling when i actually am working on something, and a grand lack of motivation. I like to think that I enjoy doing artwork. The problem is that my behavior says otherwise. Couple that with the fact that some people say if you turn a hobby into a career, it becomes work, and therefore no longer a hobby. But I’ve decided it’s now or never, and I should just gauge the audience instead.

If I were to start a Patreon, would you fund me?

If I got enough people who were actually committed, I would have a reason to devote more time to my work, be that music, art or writing besides the fact that I’m between jobs without anything else to do…

Headcanon says yes. The requirement to stir up discontent among peoples to gain sustenance certainly didn’t get them any friends. When the curse was gone, the slate was wiped clean! There’s almost nopony who knows them in Equestria. So now here they are, staying up late, sitting on a couch in their newly rented apartment, eating greasy, unhealthy tacos and watching the local music channel. Sonata likes the food, Aria’s simply too tired to stay up longer with her sisters, and Adagio? Well, she may not have the world wrapped around her finger– or hoof now– but she couldn’t be more content living with the friendly neighbors of Ponyville– who, mind you, she did nothing to gain their cheerful welcome and kindness.

(1) First you have to know ponies… Which I’m sure you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t. Then you need to know Minecrat… and then you need to know Thaumcraft, a minecraft mod! In the most basic terms, the player researches projects and gains new recipies to create new magical things. Some things are forbidden knowledge, which cause an effect called warp. Warp being a nasty magical sort of madness which causes all sorts of nasty things, the most mild bad thing being Flux Flu which increases magic cost. So here’s Celestia taking care of a poor booksmart pony down with a little Flux Flu.

Last Wedsnesday, I had someone send me a personal message, asking if I took art trades or commissions. I replied that I don’t like art trades, but I do do commissions, and I’d be happy to give them my rates. (you can find those rates on my DA account, by the way) They asked for the $30 linework, and I was ecstatic! I Thought this would be a great opportunity to get some money in my pocket! So I went to it with great enthusiasm, using their pony creator OC to make something pretty.

When it was all done, I posted it up with a watermark over it, secure in my confidence that I’d get my money.

It’s times like these that I despise my naivete.

Group shot! A picture of the mane six on the maiden voyage of the S.S. Harmony in my Redblak universe. With the bearer of magic becoming ageless, it was suspected by everypony that they would need to seek out five new bearers by the time the others were in retirement with great grandchildren running around. However, it seemed that despite the Elements being returned to the tree of harmony, their connection still remained strong, and the ponies were not aging. Research and discovery lead to the knowledge that anypony associated with the bearers of harmony or were affected by them would live longer because of it… to the point of never aging past adulthood.

That and with Twilight being crowned princess of friendship, and Pinkie being friends with everypony she met… Well Pinkie had managed to drag just about everypony on the planet into this whole “live forever” thing.

Okay, just how many times is she going to be cooped up in tatzlpony crop? It’s like the artist has an obsession or something…

And that’s the conclusion of this chapter! I came to the decision that I wanted to change the focus to our human characters, or some other ponies. So I’m gonna do both. Anyway, I think I’ve finally found a shading technique that I’m happy with, so this is what I’ll use from now on. Meanwhile I’ll continue the crusade against crude coloring! Until then!
