One evening Starlight took a trip to Canterlot to brush up on some important theorems that Twilight said she missed.
Then
in the middle of a fascinating study, she realized she wasn’t alone in
the library. A set of white hooves plucked her from her seat and gently
wrapped themselves around her barrel. It was only until she looked up at
the muzzle pressing into hers that she realized just who it was that
was hugging her.
“P-princess? Why’s your mane so… blue?”
“Oh don’t worry about that… So, Starlight is it?”
“Yes, your highness…”
“Well, I think that Twilight made a good choice in an apprentice; You’re very polite.”
“Um… Thank you Your highness… W-would you please let me go now?”
“Oh no, don’t let me stop you,” She giggled. “As far as you’re concerned, I’ll be your pillow.”
Starlight
knew something was wrong, but she dared not say anything about it in
fear of some sort of punishment. So with a nervous smile, she hesitantly
returned the affection.

So here’s another on and
off piece I did during this week. It started out as a fluffy piece of
Celestia nuzzling up to Starlight glimmer, But things do tend to get
away from me. Look at the fuzzy ponies. Just look at them!
Anyway, next time, I’m going to try more painting without thick black lines. It should be a more detailed piece, I hope.
